Attached is the baptismal record of my grandfather, Sylvester Dobrowolski. It is from the parish Raciazek, near Ciechocinek, and the year 1900. His parents were Szczepan Dobrowolski and Jadwiga Szpalkowska. I know that he was born on December 31, 1894. His name appears in the 1894 index of births, with instructions to look in the 1900 records. This is where I found this document. Later documents all say that Sylvester was born in 1894.

Please ask the forum if there is anyone who can determine the reason for the delay in this baptismal record six years after my grandfather was born.
